Organised together with Buitenplaats Brienenoord – the rehearsal room of the future. A unique place, an island and artist-led initiative deeply rooted in Rotterdam, featuring a programme that focuses on future thinking AND future doing, always using imagination as a key driver.

- Ailie Ziegler – Futurist Zine Making – collectively imagining futures based in ecological, queer-feminist and decolonial ideals. We will start by getting to know the island and doing some foraging and will then transition to creating zines together that imagine this future.
- Clara Harmssen – Foraging the Island – if you know what to look out for, there is a whole thriving and edible ecology on our small Island. Together we will go about and see what we can get our hands on, all the while respecting the island.
- Katayun Taraporevala and Urvee Kulkarni – Claying tools of the future – a workshop in which you will be foraging clay and create workable objects through sculpting, thus exploring ways to work with natural materials and envision an alternative, more sustainable future.
- Marin de Heij – gathering ecology – starting with a reading of Ursula Le Guin text ‘The carrier bag theory of fiction’ we will explore ideas of queer ecologies through some exercises.
- LB comes to land – activity planned by the Rhine crew and the Danube curators

6 pm – Dinner prepared by Vlada Predelina from the collective Eathouse. The dinner is inspired by the idea of Liquid Becomings.
After this dinner there will be a party with music, drinks and hopefully campfire.
10 places will be held for members of the public to join us. Please register here by the morning of 30th of September to be considered. The ballot will be drawn the next day, and the winners informed that they will be sharing in this moment with the Rhine Liquid Becomings crew.
