This is a reflection on group dynamics, sourced in Astrida Neimanis’ thoughts about hydrofeminism. Through collective reading, discussions and experiences on the boat we understood that our bodies of water are in a constant exchange with the outside water system. In comparison, we can see a group as an open/closed system as well, in constant exchange with its surroundings, as a body of water… but if so: How can we nurture that
relationship in a responsible way? How can we – as a group – become a proliferative force and a meaningful interbeing? Holding on to our boat of indetermination, we continue floating into that wide open sea of fragmentary narratives, searching for an escape from the existing infrastructures that dominate our world.
