The European Pavilion competition and financial support is provided by the European Cultural Foundation. Based in Amsterdam, it is a small but important force in the European Cultural Scene. Established as a foundational element of the European Commission and Union, it established the Erasmus exchange project, for example, which has benefited millions of young citizens.
In the episode, we discuss the work done by the ECF with its current Director, Andre Wilkens, and hear more from some of the artists involved in the project.
